Commercial Banking - Business Banking
the bank’s Commercial Banking business provides customized one-stop financial solutions to our corporate customers, from prime small and medium-sized businesses to publicly listed companies.
For customers conducting business locally or around the world, we offer a comprehensive range of services including corporate lending, trade and receivables finance, structured loan, cash management, investment, treasury services, insurance and e-Banking services.
As a reliable financial partner, we attend to the specific business needs of our customers and provide efficient tailor-made banking solutions through our relationship managers and dedicated specialists.
We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Assistant Portfolio Manager.
Principal responsibilities
Build and manage a portfolio of SME customers promote general banking services, cash management, loans and other banking products
Achieve various business targets
Develop and maintain cordial customer relationship and provide quality customer services
Conduct regular and effective account reviews and enhance existing relationship via cross-selling
Manage CDD risk, monitor suspicious behavior and take appropriate action in compliance with established policy and guideline, to protect the Bank’s interest
Experience: Entry level

Requirements
University degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, with good knowledge of SME business
Pass in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations and fulfillment of the competency requirements to carry out regulated activities as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance
Strong self-motivation with outgoing personality and ability to work independently
Ability to communicate effectively and create connection with others
High level of customer centricity mindset with dedication to deliver exceptional quality services for customers
Proficiency in both English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
Professional qualifications such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage
