We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Senior Manager, Investment Operations.
Principal Responsibilities
Team leadership & delivery - set priorities, targets and service standards; coach team members and manage day-to-day delivery across internal teams and outsourced parties.
Lead custodian / outsourcing oversight reviews, track KPIs/KRIs, manage remediation plans and drive continuous improvement with vendors.
Govern custodian scope including (but not limited to):
Investment reporting
Custody services (account/security maintenance, segregation and reporting)
Trade support (fund transfers, settlement support)
Other fund administration activities
Operating model optimization - Optimise the investment operating model and workflows in alignment with Group INS blueprint and local business needs.
Stakeholder management - Act as a key relationship manager to the CIO / Investment team, supporting investment business needs across settlement and operat...

Requirements
Risk management, issue handling & FCC - Act as an escalation point for incident management, root-cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. Proactively manage operational risks, ensuring controls are effective and aligned to internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Take personal responsibility for Financial Crime Compliance (FCC): remain vigilant, follow relevant FCC policies/procedures, and escalate suspicious or unusual activity promptly.
Change & Procedure - Implement Group INS/HSIC change programmes; develop/review operating procedures (including outsourced parties) to meet internal policy and regulatory requirements.
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
Minimum of 8 years' experience in within the insurance industry, exposure to investment field preferred.
Proven leadership experience (team leadership, governance, and delivery accountability).
Experience in managing and mitigating operational risks as part of their day to day operations
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills
Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure
Proficiency in both English and Chinese
Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
