Role Overview
As a Senior Manager in Retail Insurance Distribution, you will lead the development and execution of distribution strategies to drive business growth and enhance customer experience.
You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effective delivery of insurance products and services through various retail channels.
Principal Responsibilities
Develop and implement distribution strategies to achieve business targets and grow market share across retail insurance segment
Lead sales initiatives with branch channels focusing on retail banking and mainlander segment.
Identify business opportunities for channel optimization and innovation
Build strong internal and external partnerships to support business initiatives and maximize distribution effectiveness

Requirements
Monitor sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback, providing actionable insights and recommendations to senior management
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in direct channels Insurance distribution, including at least 5 years in a managerial capacity
Demonstrated leadership, communication, stakeholder management, communication and interpersonal skills
Strong sense of ownership and a service-oriented mindset, ensuring efficient and effective customer service processes
Proven ability to drive sales growth and manage multi-channel distribution
Comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, market trends, life insurance propositions and the regulatory environment
Experience in wealth management and portfolio review, with expertise in retirement, legacy and risk (protection) planning
Professional qualification in financial planning (e.g. CFMPTM, CFPCM, FLMI, CFA) and passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations are advantageous
Mature, creative and dynamic with excellent communication and presentational skills
Proficiency in English, Cantonese and/or Putonghua
