We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Head of ETF Capital Markets, APAC.
The APAC Head of ETF Capital Markets represents the Global ETF Capital Markets team across the region, partnering closely with the banking group Asset Management sales teams and key external liquidity providers.
The role delivers ETF trading and liquidity expertise, thought leadership, and market insights to support client outcomes and the growth of the banking group ETFs, while ensuring the Global Capital Markets platform is consistently and effectively represented internally and externally.
In this role you will:
Partner with APAC sales teams on client meetings, providing ETF Capital Markets expertise on trading, liquidity, execution quality and implementation.
Drive the ETF value proposition through tailored education, thought leadership and strategic content across different client segments.
Produce and deliver timely local market insights, outlooks and actionable market colour for clients and internal stakeholders.
Proactively identify and communicate investment opportunities and sales propositions to support asset gathering and client outcomes.
Build and maintain senior relationships with authorised participants, market makers, brokers, ETF trading desks and exchanges; lead onboarding of new APs and deepen existing coverage.
Support day-to-day Capital Markets activity by handling AP/market maker requests, overseeing primary market activity, and monitoring secondary market volumes, flows and spreads.
Manage end-to-end primary market processes (order submission through settlement) and partner with the ETF servicing agent to enhance AP-facing operating processes.
Contribute to business growth and governance by leading cross-functional initiatives, supporting new ETF launches/listings, representing Capital Markets in internal forums, and maintaining strong market/regulatory awareness and reporting.
