We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a VP I - Insurance.
In this role you will:
Proactively identify commercial insurance business opportunities and provide excellent direct sales services to customers, engaging CMB RMs and/ or other frontline partners.
Convert these opportunities into real income at a high closing ratio with revenue targets being regularly achieved/exceeded
Manage the department’s key relationships by providing excellent after sales service and identifying untapped business opportunities, thereby growing/ maximizing customers’ I&I wallet share in accordance with customers’ requirement
Provide excellent customer service to the satisfaction of customers and to acquire, retain and strengthen customer relationships, work with CMB RMs closely on a day-to-day basis to build trust and rapport.
Ensure RMs are aware of and comfortable in making business referrals to them and respond to their referrals/requests in a timely manner
Provide professional advice to internal/external customers on how I&I can fulfill business requirements, provide and/or support I&I trainings and workshops for internal/external customers as required
Recommend changes in products, service, and process by evaluating results and competitive developments and to mentor less experienced team members to jointly achieve sales and targets as a team.
Be responsible to engage CMB Directors and Team Heads in the formulation and execution of business strategy and tactical program
To stand the banking group Value in all business engagements, maintain the highest standard of integrity and ensure compliance with all internal and external rules, regulations and guidelines on all service and sales activities
Strict adherence to and work within the guidance laid down by the Sales Protocols and Compliance manuals and under the supervision of line managers.

Bachelor Degree
Over 3 years sales experience for insurance / investment products
IIQE, paper 1, 2, 3 & 5 or possess certain insurance qualification according to the regulatory requirement
RI license (HKSI Paper 1,7 & 8) or possess certain investment wealth management qualifications according to the regulatory requirement
Strong interpersonal, sales and communication skill. Good PC skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and Chinese. Fluency in Putonghua would be an advantage
