Serving as the primary liaison for the Chief Risk Officer in executing regional oversight responsibilities related to Digital Assets and interconnected risk categories, including enhancement and enforcement of risk frameworks, regulatory adherence, comprehensive monitoring, and timely reporting.
Providing expert interpretation of Digital Asset regulations and spearheading their application within the GCNA region to maintain strict compliance.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to manage large exposure and country risk in relation to Digital Assets.
Ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of risk dashboards, committee papers, presentations, and other governance materials to support decision-making processes at senior levels.

A Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in a relevant discipline, underpinning a strong academic foundation.
A substantial tenure of at least 10 years within the banking sector, ideally with a focus on risk management to demonstrate deep sector knowledge and expertise.
Specialised expertise in managing Digital Assets Risk, demonstrating competence in assessing, monitoring, and mitigating risks associated with digital asset classes and technologies.
Comprehensive understanding of key regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements, including those stipulated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), and Basel Committee standards.
Professional Accreditation such as Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) under the HK Institute of Bankers (HKIB) would be an advantage.
Previous experience in Finance, Risk, Compliance, Audit, or Governance roles, providing a broad perspective and practical insights into risk control mechanisms.
Exceptional communication skills in English, both written and oral; proficiency in Chinese languages (Cantonese and/or Mandarin) is advantageous, enhancing stakeholder engagement in the region.
Proven capability to communicate confidently and effectively with senior leadership and diverse teams, driving alignment and informed decision-making.
Demonstrated ability to navigate and manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously within a fast-moving and regulation-rich environment.
