Act as a trusted advisor to CIB businesses in Hong Kong on conduct, financial crime and regulatory matters, helping to identify, assess and manage compliance risks.
Provide clear, practical and timely compliance advice on new and existing products, services, transactions and client initiatives.
Interpret and communicate relevant regulatory developments and expectations, advising on impact and implementation across CIB.
Support the design, enhancement and implementation of policies, procedures and controls to ensure effective regulatory and financial crime risk management.
Partner with first line colleagues on key change initiatives, new business approvals and product governance.
Contribute to compliance risk assessments, thematic reviews and control testing activities as required.
Support regulatory engagement and inspections in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Provide leadership, guidance and coaching to colleagues within CFCR and the wider business on best practices and expected standards.

Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience; relevant professional qualifications in compliance, legal or risk are an advantage.
Extensive experience in compliance, CFCR, legal or related risk and control functions within banking or financial services.
Proven track record in leading a diverse team of compliance professionals.
Work experience with a regulator is preferred.
Be well-versed in the relevant regulations and regulatory expectations in Hong Kong.
