Support the CEO and senior executives of SCBHK in various internal communication engagements including broadcast, speech, presentation writing.
Ghost-writing on thought leadership articles.
Manage and effectively leverage different internal and social communication channels, including but not limited to: the Bank’s intranet, emails, broadcasts, townhalls, facebook, twitter etc.
Plan and implement communications strategies for change management, focusing on staff and management communications internally to create engagement and buy-in.
Assist management in designing and delivering impactful staff recognition programs.
Work closely with businesses/functions to support business initiatives and promote success.
Work closely with the Bank’s Group Communications team to ensure alignment of local communications objectives with those of the Group.
Support the Group’s internal communication initiatives in Hong Kong.
Provide strategic communications counsel and leadership to key executives in Hong Kong i.e., issues management and crisis situations.
Bachelor Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism or related disciplines
Solid years of relevant work experience, preferably in media relations and social media management, public relations
Good command of English and Chinese languages, both spoken and written
Sound knowledge of different media platforms
Strong stakeholder engagement, influencing and negotiation skills
Experience in putting forward the company position with internal and external stakeholders
Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise and manage multitude of issues simultaneously
Maturity and credibility to liaise with and influence individuals at the senior levels, including senior management of the Bank
